
New members to this SATB chorus, from Westford and surrounding communities,
are welcome. Open rehearsals for the first session's concert began in September.
Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM at the Parish
Center for the Arts (PCA) in Westford, MA. No auditions are required. An
elected Board of Directors oversees the chorus. Members participate in
committees, fundraising events and more. Chorus members also participate
in community events and fundraising efforts. For more information about

Dues are typically $60 per concert.

No Auditions Necessary
Westford Chorus is an official 501(c)3 nonprofit cultural community
organization striving to bring quality choral music performances to Westford
and the surrounding communities. Past performances include Mozart's Requiem,
P.D.Q. Bach's The Seasonings, Renaissance polyphony, Spanish Christmas carols,
Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, and Verdi’s Requiem, fully staged and costumed
productions of Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, Mozart's The
Marriage of Figaro, and Bizet's Carmen. Westford Chorus has performed with
orchestral backup, 18-piece swing bands, and eclectic world music groups such
as Urban Myth.

Concert Attire:
Men: black tuxedo, white shirt, black shoes.
Women: floor-length black dress with long sleeves (black skirt and dressy black blouse are acceptable), black shoes, black stockings. Note: color must be a true, jet black—no variations, correct length = no ankles showing.
